Americans, we learned today, spent more on legal marijuana last year than we did on junk food.

The numbers come from ArcView Market Research and New Frontier, market research groups from the marijuana industry. (So, grain of salt and all that.)

Specifically, pot sales topped the sales of Doritos, Cheetos and Funyuns combined.
