A quick word about money and politics.

Millions, of course, were spent in Iowa the past year or so to get votes last night.

Some candidates were better at it than others.

The Huffington Post did the math: Jeb Bush, he and his Super PAC spent about 14 million dollars in the Hawkeye State.

He got about 5,000 votes for 6th place, he spent about $2,800 per vote.

Winner Ted Cruz? About 250 bucks per vote.

Return on investment, people.

“I think the best compliment I can give is not to say how much your programs have taught me (a ton), but how much Marketplace has motivated me to go out and teach myself.” – Michael in Arlington, VA
