FedEx meteorologists get your packages home on time

FedEx has a giant hub in Memphis where it ships out a million packages a night this time of year, an operation that makes Memphis the busiest airport in the world after dark. It’s just a slice of a global and logistically mind-boggling system, whose smooth running is arguably dependent on 15 people — the meteorologists.
