That’s the flat tax rate proposed by Dr. Ben Carson in his interview with Marketplace. When asked about balancing the budget, Carson also spoke of a balanced budget amendment, which would include a refusal to extend the budget for three to four years. You can hear the full interview here.

90 days

That’s how long Fifa President Sepp Blatter, Secretary-General Jerome Valcke and Vice President Michel Platini have been suspended. The three are under investigation for corruption charges. As the BBC writes, Blatter is already set to step down from his position in February, with Platini and former Vice President Chung Mong-joon hoping to replace him. Chung was banned for six years in Thursday’s ruling.

$6 an acre

That’s how much Jarad Milton says his grandfather paid before World War II for the 800 acres that make up his family’s farm in Bastrop County, Texas. In 2011, the worst wildfires in the state’s history ravaged Central Texas, including Milton’s property. Now, he lives in the small office that was off to the side of the ranch house and a few barns (all of which burned down). Marketplace’s Andy Uhler visited the area recently to see how the community is rebuilding.

$349.99

That’s how much Sony says it will charge for a Playstation 4 in the U.S. (down from the $399.99 it has been charging). As holiday shoppers gear up for gift-buying season, the company is aiming to bolster end-of-year sales of its game console. The Wall Street Journal writes that with the reduction, the PlayStation 4 is now priced the same as its main competitor, Microsoft’s Xbox One.
