That’s the uptick experienced by Harvard Business School in applications to its two-year MBA program. And in spite of the expense of such programs, colleges across the board are experiencing similar increases in applications to their business schools, as found in a new report by the Graduate Management Admission Council. That’s partly because of a very familiar business concept: the ROI, or return on investment.

That’s how much Jose Armos of Miami paid to have a full beard transplant. And according to the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery, Armos isn’t alone — facial hair transplants grew from 2012 to 2014. As the New York Times reports, as the procedure has gotten better over time, doctors have been able to create more natural looking beards by transplanting singular hairs, as opposed to plugs of multiple hairs.

That’s the breakdown of surveyed singles on Match.com that said they weigh correct grammar above everything else when judging a potential partner on the site. In fact, it beat out confidence and teeth. As the Wall Street Journal writes, as language has become more informal with the rise of texting and online communication, people have become more strongly attached to the idea of grammar as a beacon of society.
