Remember Watson, the IBM supercomputer that kicked major butt on Jeopardy? Well Watson just stepped into the cloud. IBM has put the computer's brain online and made its application programming interface available to developers. Translation: the world can now develop applications and training programs for one of the smartest computers around. John Gordon, VP of the Watson project at IBM, tells Marketplace Tech host Ben Johnson why IBM is putting Watson in the cloud.

“I think the best compliment I can give is not to say how much your programs have taught me (a ton), but how much Marketplace has motivated me to go out and teach myself.” – Michael in Arlington, VA
