This week, we’re visiting the emerging technology conference EmTech at MIT in Cambridge. Put on by the publication Technology Review, EmTech’s had a bunch of speakers who are pushing tech industries forward, like Google’s Mary Lou Jepsen and Pebble smart watch founder Eric Migicovsky. But along with exciting stories about innovation are new challenges. Kara Miller, host of WGBH radio show Innovation Hub, talks about her favorite things at EmTech. Hi Kara.

There’s a lot happening in the world.  Through it all, Marketplace is here for you.

You rely on Marketplace to break down the world’s events and tell you how it affects you in a fact-based, approachable way. We rely on your financial support to keep making that possible.

Your donation today powers the independent journalism that you rely on. For just $5/month, you can help sustain Marketplace so we can keep reporting on the things that matter to you.

The clock is ticking

Time is running out to make a gift to Marketplace and help us meet our $100,000 fall fundraiser goal by midnight tonight.
