We’re visiting MIT in Boston this week as part of the Emerging Tech conference put on by the publication the MIT Technology Review. One of the buildings we wanted to visit at MIT is the McNair building.  It holds MIT’s Man Vehicle Laboratory. There, Professor Larry Young and his others are working on an important tech innovation. But it’s far from fancy software or the latest startup. It’s a long term mission to protect our brains, whether you’re on the ski slope, on a bike or headed to Mars. Dr. Young tells Marketplace Tech host Ben Johnson about his passion for designing a better helmet.
