Ever wish you could talk back to your radio and actually be heard?

Well, we here at Marketplace do too. We love to hear from our listeners on Twitter, Facebook and our online comments section. But sometimes nothing beats hearing the human voice. That's why we're trying out a new tool on Marketplace.org (and coming soon on a new Marketplace mobile app) that allows you to respond to us with an audio message or comment right from your desktop computer or mobile device.

Here's how it works:

Step One: Click the button below to record audio from your device or upload a previously recorded audio file.

NOTE: The record button requires that you have Flash installed. If you are trying to record audio on a mobile phone or tablet that doesn't support Flash, it will prompt you to download the free AudioBoo mobile app first, and use it to record and submit your audio.

Step Two: Once have recorded your audio and played it back for review, it's time to submit it to our editors and producers. Your audio clip will first go into a moderation queue. If we like it, we'll publish your clip on the Marketplace Voice Mail channel on AudioBoo. We might also include it on our website or in one of our radio programs.

We hope you'll try it out and post a comment below to let us know how it works. We're looking forward to hearing from you.

“I think the best compliment I can give is not to say how much your programs have taught me (a ton), but how much Marketplace has motivated me to go out and teach myself.” – Michael in Arlington, VA
