To sit or stand at work? That is the question. For those of you who can’t decide, how about something in the middle?

Martin Keen, the maker of Keen footwear, joins Marketplace Morning report David Brancaccio to discuss standing desks and his new upright adjustable workstation.

Keen says humans weren’t made to sit and we have history to blame for the office chair.

“It really came out of a misguided understanding of the iconic status of the chair, which was aspirational thing,” he says. “We saw deities, we saw pharoahs seated on stones, these were people who didn’t have to work.”
