This final note today, which is A) kind of wild and B) a cautionary tale of sorts, I guess.

The New York Times reported this afternoon on a bank heist that boggles the mind. It was a cyber-heist, really, that went on for months. The bad guys hacked into accounts, transferred money around and then — in Manhattan alone — hit 2,000 ATMs and withdrew $2.5 million.

Total take was $45 million.

The best line from the story? Survelliance photos of one suspect hitting various ATMs showed his backpack getting heavier and heavier.
