Blackfriday line
A line of customers wait for Scheels All Sports to open at 7 a.m. on 'Black Friday,' on November 25, 2011 in Fargo, N.D. -

This final note, after which, I'm sad to say, your satisfaction with all the Black Friday bargains you got this morning or last night may well evaporate.

In the pages of the Wall Street Journal today I saw this: A study by the pricing research firm Decide showing a third of those doorbuster deals and amazing prices advertised by big box stores were not only available at other times of the year -- they were cheaper to boot.

So next year? Do yourself a favor and just sleep in, will ya?
