Beermaker Molson Coors blames NHL strike for poor sales
This final note today, a nod to my beer-loving brethren north of the border.
You know the National Hockey League hasn’t played a minute of its season yet, right? Big nasty labor dispute going on.
Down here, it’s honestly kind of second-tier news. Up in Canada? A big, big deal. So big, in fact, that the CEO of Molson Coors, the big beermaker, blames the NHL for soft sales up there.
Says he’s gonna ask the league to pay ’em back, too.
