Ads on bathroom mirrors

John Moe Jun 8, 2012

You know how you were complaining the other day that the world wasn’t quite horrible enough and you WISHED that somehow technology could play a role in making it horribler? Well, HAPPY FRIDAY!  Because now someone’s perfected a technology to project advertisements on bathroom mirrors. You use a restroom, you go to wash your hands, and BLAMMO: advertisements.

From the LA Times:

In a demo video illustrating how the electronic advertising mirrors might work, a young woman sees a static advertisement that takes up the entire mirror. As she approaches the mirror, a video advertisement starts to play. After a few seconds, it shrinks so that the video takes up just one-quarter of the mirror.
