This final note today, which reminds one that Google does indeed want to take over the world.

You know how there are all those new top level domain names out there? .me, f’rinstance, instead of .com? And .xxx for porn sites. Well, Google has done as companies do, and applied for a bunch of them it thinks have commercial value. .google, of course, and .youtube.

But also? .lol. The official Google blog entry on the topic says the company thinks it has interesting and creative potential.

To which one can only say: ROTFLMAO.
