And this final note. For those of you whose dreams of NFL glory JUST missed the mark, you can have a piece of Super Bowl glory. And I’m not talking T-shirts or caps or commemorative coins.

No, this is the real deal — a ring. Former New York Giant Lawrence Taylor is auctioning off the one he got for being part of the winning team in Super Bowl XXV. Bidding started today and runs through Saturday.

Taylor is currently serving six years’ probation after pleading guilty to charges of sexual misconduct and patronizing an underage prostitute two years ago. The ring is valued somewhere between $75,000 and $100,000.
