The future of TVs: Enormous… and more expensive?

In the future, your TV will be a wall. Israel-based NDS think it’s designing the TV of the future — which is not really a TV at all. It’s a whole wall of content that you divide up however you like. It basically sounds and looks a lot like a computer screen projected onto a wall… why does a whole company exist just to tell us these things, again?

In the near-term, prices are going the wrong way.
Wait: Prices on technology are usually supposed to fall, sometimes dramatically. But something odd happened on the way to dime-a-dozen flatscreens: prices are going up. Blame all the bells and whistles.
