Final Note

Dinner at Warren Buffett’s — without Buffett

Kai Ryssdal Apr 10, 2012

This final note today, which comes with this question: What is it about Warren Buffett anyway? I mean yes, he’s rich, but c’mon.

First there’s the Buffett Rule, as John Dimsdale told us about earlier. And now this: A dinner for 10 at Buffett’s childhood home in Omaha, Neb., is being auctioned off for a charity. Opening bid: $6,000.

Catch is, Buffett won’t even be there himself.

It’s weird, I’m tellin’ ya.
