Bankers jump on Super PAC bandwagon
This final note today. Looks like bankers are the latest to hop on the Super PAC bandwagon. Friends of Traditional Banking, they’re calling it. The idea, these bankers say, is to target a few close Congressional elections rather than spreading their money around to a lot of politicians hoping they’ll vote in their interests.
One banker said it comes back to that old “walking softly and carrying a big stick” philosophy.
Evidently, the banks don’t think they have one already.
