Pinterest had a 52% jump between January and February

John Moe Mar 22, 2012

I’m just going to keep reporting on Pinterest’s growth until such time as it stops having crazy stupid ridiculous growth. Sorry. It jumped 52% from January to February, going from 11.7 million unique visitors to 17.8 million. For scale, Google is still at 186.6 million and Facebook is at 158.6 million. Still, Pinterest, for the moment anyway, is The Blob, consuming all in its path. But if The Blob was super into crafts and fashion.

Marketplace is on a mission.

We believe Main Street matters as much as Wall Street, economic news is made relevant and real through human stories, and a touch of humor helps enliven topics you might typically find…well, dull.

Through the signature style that only Marketplace can deliver, we’re on a mission to raise the economic intelligence of the country—but we don’t do it alone. We count on listeners and readers like you to keep this public service free and accessible to all. Will you become a partner in our mission today?
