Apple to suck up all oxygen in tech today

John Moe Mar 7, 2012

With the announcement of what will probably be called the iPad HD. Over here at MTR, we’ve already begun crafting nicknames for it: “The Hoodoo”, “Hudda”, “Hud”. The big presentation is at noon.

What I’m going to look for is what else might be on the roster. There was word yesterday that Apple had started moving the Apple TV peripheral off of shelves, possibly in preparation for the launch of a new version. I would find that a little odd if Apple really is planning on launching its own actual TV later this year. There are also persistent rumors about this new smaller iPad coming later this year although I would doubt that it would be announced now.

Also looking for if Siri is part of the Hudda. If it is, you suddenly have a pretty fantastic gaming and video platform that you can talk to. We shall see.
