The Punchline

Michigander, Michiganians or Michiganites?

Jeremy Hobson Feb 28, 2012

And finally, we did the show last week in Michigan, and I heard a lot of people use the word “Michigander” to refer to the people who live there. Made me wonder if what’s good for the Michigander is also good for the Michegoose.

Then I was told that many people from Michigan prefer to be called “Michiganians,” or even “Michiganites.”

Seems crazy to me — or should I say…mishigas.
