Apple’s iPhone business is bigger than all of Microsoft

John Moe Feb 6, 2012

More of a data point here than an actual news story but holy mackerel. Former TechCrunch journalist, now tech pundit in exile (or something) MG Siegler reports that Apple’s iPhone business alone is bigger than Microsoft. Talking about a product that didn’t even exist a few years ago being larger than the company that makes Windows and Xbox and Word and all that. Microsoft! Remember when courts were being called in to limit the overwhelming power of Microsoft, people yelling that the company needed to be busted up? Remember Hootie & The Blowfish?

AND, if you took away the iPhone, Apple’s remaining business would still be bigger than Microsoft.

I guess my point here is: PEOPLE LIKE APPLE PRODUCTS.
