It said : “please bring me a copy of the new directory.” That kicked off a chain of annoying reply-all responses like: “i’d like to take this opportunity to say hello to my mother.” Then came the emails that said: Please remove me from the list immediately. But in the end, one staffer was happy with the chain Babette started, writing quote: “I think this is great. We should do this once a month. It’ll help us grow together.”
Bjork — the eclectic Icelandic singer — has a new gig: Teaching middle school science. In Queens. She will hold a series of classes at a Queens museum and students will write songs and use iPhone apps as part of the lessons. No word on whether students will be able to sing their way out of dissecting a frog.
