Mid-day Extra: Rupert Murdoch pays up

Adriene Hill Jan 19, 2012

Rupert Murdoch’s News International is paying up again over the phone-hacking scandal.

Eighteen people will receive payouts after their phones were hacked by the now-defunct U.K. tabloid “News of the World” —  owned by News International.

The actor Jude Law is among them, as well as high-profile U.K. politicians.

The BBC’s Sophie Hutchinson is following the story and joins us now from London for today’s Mid-day Extra.
