Final Note

Zappos hacked

Tess Vigeland Jan 16, 2012

And this final note… Those boots are made for walkin’ and, apparently, hackin’.

The online shoe giant Zappos notified some 24 million customers on Sunday that its site had been hacked. The company said credit card numbers weren’t compromised, but personal information including names, addresseses, phone numbers, and emails may have been accessed.

It urged customers to change their passwords on the site. Zappos is owned by Amazon.com.
