Facebook is giving out free Timeline business cards

John Moe Jan 6, 2012

Facebook is running a limited time offer with moo.com, which is not a social network for cows but rather a place that prints business cards. 200,000 people will get a free box of cards featuring their information and photos from their timeline. It’s a bit odd that Facebook is incorporating actual physical objects to use in social networking of the non-electronic variety.

Here’s how you get them, according to Gizmodo:

1. Go to your Facebook Timeline.

2. Click on About (it’s just below your profile photo and basic personal information).

3. Look for your Contact Info box.

4. Move your mouse over the little card icon. You will see a box that says “We’ve partnered with moo.com to make it easy to print your very own set of custom business cards. The first box of cards is on us.”

5. Click on Print Cards.

They’re giving out 5000 sets per day so you probably have to do it at the stroke of midnight or something. Or you can just buy some. They actually look pretty cool. A lot cooler, certainly, than the Facebook shower curtain, which is also a thing that exists.
