PlayStation Vita gets second firmware update

John Moe Dec 27, 2011

Looks like a bumpy launch for the Vita, the latest handheld game player from Sony. Sony is already offering a second firmware update to the device, which launched less than a month ago in Japan. The latest fix is meant to repair “game progress” issues for people playing Dynasty Warriors. An earlier update a few days ago was meant to address frozen screens and system crashes. Reached for comment, the people in charge of testing the device BEFORE it launched said, “Duuuuuhhhhh….” and then walked straight into a wall.

The Vita is expected to launch in the United States in February unless it is found to spontaneously burst into flames or house families of mice.
