For the second time this month, Verizon customers have been hit by a huge data outage. Reports have been coming in all morning from various points around the country that coverage is either dead or spotty. Someone posting on a Verizon support message board reported “Just spoke with VZW customer support representative. As of 6:28 AM Eastern time, they are confirming a nationwide outage affecting all 4G phones, and to expect little to no network connectivity. There is no ETA for resolution, of course.”
The tech site The Verge says they got confirmation from Verizon that coverage was down but couldn’t comment further. For what it’s worth, Verizon seemed to work fine for me as of 8:30 central this morning.
