For Marketplace Morning Report, Tues., Oct. 25, 2011

Here at Marketplace this week, we are putting a special focus on the threat Greece poses to the global economy. Today, we looked at one U.S. company that is playing a special role in the European country. Meanwhile, members of congress meet today in Washington to look at the threat of a European recession. We look at what Amazon would be without its books, and why Netflix shares are way down today.

And here are the songs we played today:

  • Can't Be Beat - Quiet VillageBuy
  • In our Nature (Landberg and Skogehall remix) - Jose GonzalezBuy
  • Hotel California - Gypsy KingsBuy
  • Glad - TrafficBuy
  • Funk Bomb - James BrownBuy

“I think the best compliment I can give is not to say how much your programs have taught me (a ton), but how much Marketplace has motivated me to go out and teach myself.” – Michael in Arlington, VA
