Tim Cook uncut

Steve Henn Oct 5, 2011

Apple unveiled its latest iPhone yesterday, the 4S. This was the first big product launch for the company with Tim Cook in charge and the first event in without Steve Jobs.

Apple didn’t stage a big to-do as they have in the past. And the company held the announcement at Apple’s Cupertino headquarters – a much smaller venue than the ones it has used in the past. That meant far fewer reporters got into the building to watch. T

Which lead me to wonder aloud yesterday if Apple’s PR team was trying to protect Cook from too many direct comparison with Steve Jobs. Well, today we can all compare away. Apple posted a recording of the entire event online, here.
