Final Note

Reebok offers refunds for EasyTone shoes

Kai Ryssdal Sep 28, 2011

This final note today, from the Marketplace Desk of Yeah, We All Kinda Knew That.

You know those EasyTone sneakers that Reebok promised would firm up your derriere? Mmmmm, no. The company agreed to offer $25 million in refunds today to settle claims by the Federal Trade Commission of false advertising. Turns out there’s no actual science to back up Reebok’s claims that the shoes could do what they said they’d do.

So your tushy’s on its own. Apply for the refund here.
