From outage to outrage

In California this weekend, around 1000 AT&T cell towers went offline. The outage started Saturday afternoon and went through to Sunday, and it mostly affected calls in Los Angeles and Orange Counties. Customers experienced failed calls, drop outs, and couldn’t access their voicemail. They grumbled loud enough to make this a trending Twitter topic. With all the iPhones that must have fallen silent, how did the movie industry survive?
