Bull’s-eye for fashion

John Moe Sep 14, 2011

Fashionista-bargainistas, and apparently there is such a thing, crashed the Target site yesterday. The store launched a line for high-fashion brand Missoni, but at dramatically low prices compared to what this stuff goes for otherwise. People began hoarding everything from throw pillows to bathing suits. In a move taken straight from the HP Touchpad fire sale, Missoni items have already started showing up on eBay for collector’s prices. Congratulations, Missoni and Target! You have saved the US economy! I have no analysis of this story beyond the observation that I just don’t understand people sometimes.
