Netflix getting a little less golden (UPDATE: Nuh-uh)

John Moe Sep 7, 2011

I’m seeing this story reported as new a lot this morning but I’m not convinced it is. Seems people are running across a situation where they’re only allowed to watch one streaming movie or show at a time on Netflix. So if the kids are watching Fishtronaut on the TV, you can’t watch Friday Night Lights on the computer. My own experience with this is more erratic. I got blocked from doing that a couple weeks ago but then after a day or two I was able to watch on 2 or 3 devices at once. So maybe it’s on the way but just rolling out slowly.

UPDATE: False alarm. Netflix says it was an error.
