TechCrunch in trouble?

John Moe Sep 6, 2011

Siegler would be great to interview about this Amazon thing but he’s probably too busy LIGHTING HIS WEBSITE ON FIRE. Again, this won’t matter to everyone but the influential tech news site TechCrunch is all kinds of screwed up right now. First, acerbic lead singer Michael Arrington set out to launch a “CrunchFund” to invest in the businesses he covers, then he gets moved around and essentially fired by AOL and its content chief Arianna Huffington, now comes Siegler with a scathing piece on TechCrunch called “TechCrunch As We Know It May Be Over”.

He rails against AOL, the New York Times, and everyone who, he claims, doesn’t understand how TechCrunch works.
