Google+ is Pac Man at Google headquarters and all these other weird little side products are the white dots. WAKA WAKA WAKA.

Google is closing down more programs and continuing to narrow its focus. It’s getting rid of the highly useful Google Desktop. WAKA WAKA WAKA

Also gone: Aardvark, the social search company that Google acquired last year. WAKA WAKA WAKA Oh yeah. Social search. Wasn’t that supposed to be the next big thing? And never really turned out to be?
