And it’s Madden Day
Today marks the release of the latest edition of the beyond-insanely popular Madden NFL game. Madden NFL ’12.
A couple interesting new wrinkles to the game according to Wikipedia:
– To support awareness for concussions, players who suffer a concussion during gameplay will no longer be allowed to return to the game.
– Quarterbacks have distinct throwing motions, making them look much more like their real-life counterparts.
For Madden devotees, today is the day you call in sick to work, plunk down $60 for the game, and barricade yourself in your mancave for many many hours.
Cleveland Browns running back Peyton Hillis is on the cover this year and, as per tradition, will probably blow out his knee in week three.
