Microsoft is trying to lure WebOS developers to Windows phones

John Moe Aug 23, 2011

Microsoft hasn’t been known for its speed in reacting to things much lately but they are making a play for stranded WebOS developers, left to drift out to sea when HP pulled the plug (sorry for the mixed metaphor). Microsoftie Brandon Watson, who heads up app development for Windows Phone tweeted that all WebOS devs were welcome to build for his phone and he would provide free phones, training and support. Looks like 1000 or so have already taken him up on it.
