The FBI says it’s launching an investigation as to whether the same sort of voice mail hacking that has allegedly taken place in England may have happened here in the States as well. At issue are the voice mails and call records of 9/11 victims and their families. This follows an accusation to the same effect against News Corp by the Daily Mirror, a tabloid paper in the UK as well as a call for an investigation by Rep. Peter King (R-NY) whose Long Island district was home to many victims of the 9/11 attacks.
