Cell phones are a huge road hazard

Did we know this? Yes we knew this. But did we know cell phones are being blamed for up to 25% of all U.S. car crashes? Yikes. This, according to a study by the Governors Highway Safety Association. “Data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) shows that in 2009 alone, nearly 5,500 fatalities and about half a million injuries resulted from crashes involving a distracted driver.” If you are reading this on your phone while driving a car, I will be very disappointed in you because LOOK OUT TREE!
