#AskObama

John Moe Jul 1, 2011

That’s the hashtag for a White House town hall to take place on July 6. President Obama will answer questions submitted via Twitter on a live webcast.

Here, I have some questions.

  1. What percentage of the questions using this tag will be legit as opposed to people making fun of the whole idea?

  2. Given the zillions of users on Twitter vs. the number of questions you could get time to answer, isn’t this all a bit of a charade?

  3. I mean, come on, right?

  4. Won’t the questions be vetted for how closely they stick to points you already wanted to make?

  5. If somebody has a really ridiculous Twitter name – SquirrelBoy75 or HotMamaSmokyPants – will you PLEASE read that as part of the question? Because that would be funny.
