If you want an unlimited Verizon data plan, sign up now

John Moe Jun 21, 2011

The honeymoon of all you can eat data ends on July 7th as Verizon will introduce tiered data for new customers. Verizon is only confirming the date at this point but the rates being widely reported are $30 a month for 2GB, $50 for 5GB, and $80 for 10GB. Anything over your plan is $10 per GB. Tethering to other devices will be an extra $20, which includes an extra 2GB. If you already have a Verizon data plan, this will not affect you. So if you use a lot of data or you just don’t want the hassle of worrying about how much data you use, AND you wanted to go with Verizon, get on that.
