Les Paul Google Doodle

John Moe Jun 9, 2011

“Well that’s the coolest one of these I’ve ever seen,” said my 10-year-old son this morning when I showed him the Google Doodle (google.com home page illustration) of the day. And he’s right. I usually don’t talk about Google Doodle’s because they’re kind of blah. But this one is really fun. It honors electric guitar pioneer Les Paul’s birthday and it’s an interactive guitar…thingy, I don’t even know how to describe it. You can pluck the strings and hear guitar sounds AND you can hit record to make your own little recording on the guitar. Super fun. And Les Paul is awesome.

Try it. It’s okay, it’s for research purposes!
