And this final note. The New York Times today named Jill Abramson as its new executive editor. She replaces Bill Keller, who will be writing for the magazine and the op-ed page.

Abramson's appointment comes as the Times -- like so many newspapers -- Is struggling to find new sources of revenue. Abramson started at the Times as an investigative journalist in 1997 after moving over from the Wall Street Journal. She revealed to New York magazine that she has a tattoo of a subway token on her right shoulder. Abramson is also the first woman to take the helm as executive editor.
