Someone tell Newt Gingrich "Win the Future" is taken

Kai Ryssdal May 11, 2011

This final note today. Call it a branding failure or slogan un-awareness or just a slip up, but I think somebody forgot to tell Newt Gingrich the phrase “Win the Future” is already taken. The White House rolled it out for the State of the Union.

But today on his website, newt.org, as he announces officially that he’s running for president, there’s a quote from the former speaker himself saying, “Together, we will win the future.”

Or maybe he just wants to replace Joe Biden in 2012?
