The idea is that you can buy a Pepsi for your friend online. They get a personalized message from you along with a code that they enter into the social Pepsi machine and get their soda. Then your friend gets to drive all around town looking for a Pepsi machine that accepts this weird code that no one will ever end up using. Refreshing! Pepsi will debuted the machine at a trade show this week. Coca-Cola recently debuted a vending machine with a touch screen that dispenses over a hundred flavor combinations and must be a real thrill to clean for some poor sap.
