iPhone 5 may have NFC, may look like the 4

John Moe Mar 18, 2011

The next version of the iPhone is coming in June (yep, you’re going to have to deal with a few more months of Apple rumors) and new rumors say that it will have near field communications technology. So you can pay for stuff with your phone. This, of course, is supposed to be the next wave of technology and the wave of the future for paying for stuff. Frankly, it’s beginning to feel a bit like killer bees at this point (always about to arrive). The rumor contradicts earlier rumors that Apple would skip NFC for this round. Also, alleged cases for the 5 (I think I’ll call it El Cinco from now on) have been leaked. They would seem to dispute rumors that El Cinco would be a revolutionary new design. They look pretty much like cases for other iPhones.

Buckle up. Many more El Cinco rumors to come.

Whoops, here’s another one. El Cinco will have a bigger screen, aluminum back.
