Want to solve the U.S. debt crisis? You may have more success in cutting the federal deficit than the politicians in Washington. Today on Marketplace Morning Report, Steve Chiotakis spoke to Steven Kull of the Center on Policy Attitudes at the University of Maryland. The non-profit research center partnered with the University of Maryland on a survey that found average people can easily solve the budget deficit. Want to give it crack? The center's budget exercise allows you to design the federal budget, analyze government revenues, and even tackle Social Security.

“I think the best compliment I can give is not to say how much your programs have taught me (a ton), but how much Marketplace has motivated me to go out and teach myself.” – Michael in Arlington, VA
