Strange requests up in the friendly skies

A final note. Virgin Atlantic says it always aims to go the extra mile when it comes to serving its passengers, but its customer relations department says the requests can sometimes be “challenging.”

Some strange expectations turned up in a survey of the carrier’s flight attendants: Seems some passengers have asked for the engines to be “turned down” to lower the noise. One passenger asked to be directed to the showers. And some just don’t seem to understand why they can’t open the window.
